On Tour

The On Tour changelog

What’s new.

New features, little improvements, and the fixes that make your next round run smoother. All here.

Latest updateiOS & Android · v1.7.62

Your round, worth posting.

Share cards that do your round justice, and a wrap of every month your tour plays.

New

  • Share your round on a bold card, in any tour colour or over your own photo.
  • Your last round waits on Home ready to share, and Share is there the moment you sign your card.
  • Send your result straight to the tour chat, with a caption.
  • After every month your tour plays, a wrap lands in your inbox: the wins, the low rounds, the photo of the month.
  • Every tour wears its own colour, and any tour admin can set it.

Improved

  • A better chat, smoother from the moment you open it.
  • A played event opens on the leaderboard, with who won at the top.
  • Open On Tour in an event email takes you straight to the event.
iOS & Android · v1.7.59

Show the boys how it went.

Your result as an image, and a tour page that starts with your history.

New

  • Share your result as an image, straight into the group chat.

Improved

  • Your tour page leads with your history, and polls vote the way they do in chat.
  • Notifications opens your phone’s own settings, so what you switch off stays off.
iOS & Android · v1.7.57–1.7.58

Nine holes still counts.

Sign for a nine, and invite links that look the part.

New

  • Played nine at an 18-hole course? Sign for 9 holes once your nine is in.
  • Share your invite link and the group chat shows your tour’s name and crest.

Improved

  • Called it after ten or more holes? The holes you didn’t play count as net par, so your card still takes its place.
  • Once you’ve teed off, the event shows who’s playing.
  • Copy your invite link and it’s ready to paste, without the link spelled out across your screen.
iOS & Android · v1.7.56

Every golfer starts with a tour.

A shorter signup that ends with your crew.

New

  • Signing up ends with your own tour: start one for your crew, or join a mate’s with their invite.
  • Tap the like count on a post to see who liked it.
  • Pinch a feed photo to zoom in.

Improved

  • Signup is shorter, with no postcode.
  • Pro Shop checkout confirms the moment you pay, showing what you were charged.

Fixed

  • If your chosen handicap isn’t set, you play off your other one instead of scratch.
iOS & Android · v1.7.54–1.7.55

Your round, on your wrist.

Score from your Apple Watch and leave your phone in the bag.

New

  • Score from your Apple Watch. Your phone stays in your bag and the card keeps up.
  • What’s new lives on your account page, with a place to tell us what you want next.

Improved

  • Your lock screen colours every score the way the card does: under par, par, over, at a glance.
  • Chat keeps the conversation above the keyboard, so you can read what you’re replying to.
  • Only the people who said they’re coming get asked to pay.
  • Your handicap counts the golf you actually played, off your tee’s rating.
  • Notifications group by day and clear in one tap.
iOS & Android · v1.7.45

The card your club actually uses.

Out and In, and an organiser who can roll with the day.

New

  • Your scorecard is the classic Out and In: two rows a player, no scrolling through eighteen holes.
  • Forgot to pick Stableford before you teed off? The organiser can switch format mid-round and nobody loses a score.
  • When the course closes a hole, the organiser closes it for the group, and it stays out of the totals and side games.
  • Change the email on your account from the account page.

Improved

  • Longest drive comes back in metres or yards, whichever your profile says.
iOS · v1.7.42

The whole group, on your lock screen.

Follow every score as it lands, without opening the app.

New

  • Every score your mates post shows on your lock screen as it lands: who, what they got, and where they sit.
  • Not playing? Follow a mate’s round from your lock screen anyway.
  • The evening before a round, you get the forecast for the course.

Improved

  • Nearest the pin and longest drive winners show on the card as they’re claimed.
  • Sign your card and the final result stays up for a while.
  • A fresh look for the app’s type, and a new icon on your home screen.
iOS · v1.7.34

Scoring that keeps up with you.

Handicaps that add up, and a card that moves when you do.

Improved

  • A score moves you to the next hole, even when you’re tracking putts.
  • Handicaps round and recompute the way your club does them.
  • Discarding a round only touches your card. Your mates keep playing.
iOS · v1.7.25–1.7.26

Your game. Your crew. More connected.

A bigger update for the golf you play and the stories you share afterwards.

New

  • On Tour Handicap calculates your number from logged rounds. It’s an informal handicap, not an official WHS Handicap Index.
  • Voice notes, polls, message editing and read receipts in tour chat.
  • Tour Passport keeps a record of the courses you’ve played.

Improved

  • Post photos and video together with background uploads and fullscreen playback.
  • A refreshed home screen puts your next game up front.
